TMS therapy is a form of non-invasive brain stimulation non-invasive to treat depression. It uses electromagnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. It has been particularly successful in treating patients with depression who have not responded to medication or who prefer not to use medications.
The therapy is a course of treatment sessions usually lasting 30-40 minutes. The patient will receive treatment 5 days a week for approximately 2-6 weeks depending on the protocol we use.
